The Sedona Project

Welcome to The Sedona Project, where healing happens together.

Why do we exist?

At The Sedona Proiect, we recognize that Sutter and Yuba Counties are severely impacted by a lack of mental health providers, roughly half of the average of other California counties. The result of this crisis is a suicide rate that is nearly twice that of the nation and a concerning number of youth arrests, teen births, hospitalizations, chronic disease, and premature deaths.

We exist to fill a gap between crisis and wellness. With the national therapist shortage, The Sedona Project is here to make sure that people in Yuba and Sutter Counties have the opportunity to find and maintain healing through connection to other community members.

We do this by offering three pillars of support.
